Douglas H. Clements, previously a preschool and kindergarten teacher, is Distinguished University Professor and Kennedy Endowed Chair at the University of Denver. A researcher and curriculum developer, Dr. Clements' contributions have led to the development of new asset-based mathematics curricula, software, teaching approaches, professional development initiatives, and models of scaling up iinovations, each focusing on inclusion and equity. Funded by the Institute of Education Sciences, National Science Foundation, and others, he haspublished his research in over 185 research studies, 8 books, and 400 additional works. Research has documented that, in the entire field of Math Education, Dr. Clements is the 1st most influential authors in the USA, and the 2nd in the world.
